I have a huge deck (500,000+ notes) that I often take onto excel to edit. The problem is many fields are the same. For example, I will have a number of notes with the same vocabulary term. As such, if I update it in excel and then re-import it into anki I will change notes that I don’t want to change. Maybe you could say import it using a different field (like the example sentence) this is no good either as sentences may be used several times too.
What would be handy is to create a field within Anki which then gives each note its own unique number. This surely would be very easy to do?
