To reproduce
Open the Browse window
Select a New card
Type Ctrl-Shift-S to Reposition card (or select from menu)
Choose a new start position or just click OK
Observe the card in the Browse window. Note it’s Due column has not updated yet.
Click the browse window. Note it immediately changes to New #0 (or whatever)
What was expected:
As in the previous version of Anki, the browse window Due column should immediately update once the Reposition popup closes
What Occurred:
In the latest version, the card Due column in the Browse window does not update immediately, and requires the browse window to be clicked to refresh
Running the following version on Windows 11
Version 25.09.4 (d52ca669)
Python 3.13.5 Qt 6.9.1 Chromium 122

It works fine for me, both with and without add-ons.
Win10 64bit, Anki:
Version 26.05b2 (975ab207)
Python 3.13.13 Qt 6.11.0 Chromium 140
I haven’t been able to reproduce this on the same version you’re using.
Anki 25.09.4 (d52ca669) (ao)
Python 3.13.5 Qt 6.9.1 PyQt 6.9.1
Platform: Windows-11-10.0.26200-SP0
You should go through the Troubleshooting Checklist – start with #2 add-ons and #6 video drivers. If you don’t see any difference, try everything else on the list, even the things you think aren’t relevant.
I upgraded to 26.05 and the issue is gone
