Notes no longer selected after Ctrl-D (change deck)

I used to do this operation quickly:

  1. select notes
  2. Ctrl-D (change deck)
  3. Ctrl-Shift-S (reposition)

However, now after Ctrl-D, the notes are no longer selected (although they appear to be), and Ctrl-Shift-S does not do anything. I have to re-select the notes then do Ctrl-Shift-S.

My version:
Win10 X64
Version ⁨24.06 (c4cd8808)⁩
Python 3.9.18 Qt 5.15.2 PyQt 5.15.5

I’m not able to reproduce this on an earlier version (meaning my selection stays put as long as I don’t change what I’m looking at in the browser). But obviously that might not be very helpful information if you think it was newly introduced in 24.06. :sweat_smile:

Since you’ve recently updated, have you tried it with all add-ons disabled (#2 –Troubleshooting - Anki Manual)?

I have no addons, I didn’t even know there were addons.

But yes, I discovered this after upgrading to beta versions to get around the text input lag bug.

Okay. Hopefully someone else will be able to reproduce it or respond that it’s an expected change.

Please try again with the latest stable release.
