Problem with card template

I had a deck which used to be working fine. After I don’t know which update, case sensitivity seems to be introduced. Now I have a problem with this deck, when viewing Back Preview:

Back template has a problem:
Found '<U+2068>{{hanzi}}<U+2069>', but there is no field called '<U+2068>hanzi<U+2069>'

That makes sense because there is a field called Hanzi.
I can rename this value in Back Template, and then Back Preview is correctly displayed.
However when I save these changes, I get an error: Card template 2 in note type 'Heisig-...' has a problem. Field 'hanzi' not found.

How is it possible? I have just changed this value in template and it is correctly displayed. But I cannot save these changes to card type and I cannot use this card until this is changed.

Field Replacements - Anki Manual – Hanzi and hanzi are not the same thing. You’ll need to update it on each card type that has the problem – and check both front and back templates.

Ok, thanks. The actual problem was that I was changing it for only one card.
