Persistent Deleted Card Still Showing in Anki Tried Everything, Need Advanced Help!

I’m facing a frustrating issue with Anki where a card I deleted keeps showing up repeatedly during reviews. I’ve tried all the usual fixes like syncing fully (including force sync with Shift key), running “Check Database,”. The card still appears as if it wasn’t deleted.

I’ve also tried restoring from backups and creating new profiles, but the problem persists. It seems like the deletion is stuck in the database or there’s some kind of sync or corruption issue that normal Anki tools can’t fix.

Are you trying to delete a single card, or to delete an entire note (which could make any number of cards)?

If you mean starting in “safe mode”? That doesn’t force a one-way sync. Preferences - Anki Manual

I’m trying to delete Single card

For the most part – you can’t do that. You can add and delete notes, but Anki is in charge of the cards that are made from those notes. Card Generation - Anki Manual

What kind of card/note is it? For instance, if it’s a cloze or image occlusion card, there can be certain ways to handle it.

That card had some maths in it. So, I was using css to render maths syntax clearly .

I don’t understand how your response is relevant to the situation, but you also marked it as the solution, so I’ll assume you don’t need any more help with this.

Sorry my bad I mistakenly added that

Does that mean you still needed help with something?
