PDF flashcards to anki

I am new to Anki and have scanned my paper flashcards in pdf documents. Means, page 1 is the front of flashcard 1 and page 2 is the back of flashcard 1, page 3 is the front of flashcard 2, page 4 the back of flashcard 2 and so on.
Is there any way to just upload the whole file (~ 3000 flashcards in total split into 15 files) and thereby automatically create the deck?

I have tried multiple things, but none of it was successful. Maybe someone can help.
Thanks!

If you just want the images on the front and back of your cards, you could –

  1. Turn the pdf into an image file for each page (export as jpg)
  2. Insert those filenames into HTML img tags in a properly formatted text/CSV file –Text Files - Anki Manual
  3. Import that file into Anki to create your notes
  4. Manually add those jpgs to your collection (and run Tools > Check Media)

You don’t say what other things you’ve tried, so it’s hard to know what else to suggest. There may be add-ons that are better suited for this.
