Please consider setting up a Patreon account. I’ve been using Anki for years and would love to support the project in a more meaningful way.
I’m aware of that faq. Anki still needs a Patreon account we can donate to.

I appreciate the sentiment, but wish to keep things simple. There are other ways you can help out at the moment, such as telling your friends about Anki, or helping answer people’s questions on these forums.
