Number of due cards in browser don't match the actual number

Hello, everyone.

I’m experiencing an issue with the number of due cards in Anki. In the browser, Anki shows that I have only 77 due cards (Pic 1), but the actual number is 2011 cards (Pic 2).

Below is a snapshot of my heatmap. As you can see, I haven’t missed very many days. I suspect that the discrepancy may be due to another factor. I’m using the FSRS Helper, which might have affected the scheduling but I can’t remember if I accidently pressed anything.

If anyone knows how to fix this, please let me know. Thank you!

No, Pic 1 shows that you have 77 notes (not cards) that have 1 or more cards that have a due date of today.

The reason you see more cards than that on your Decks screen is that your search is too limited – you’re missing overdue cards. Change your search to prop:due<=0 – then to see how many cards that is, switch to “Cards” mode.

oh I see, thank you. Have been using Anki for too long but I still don’t really understand that.

It’s worth it to make sure you understand the key concepts, like cards vs. notes, and have a good working knowledge of the Browse window.
