Note Types: KEYBOARD for switching ('Add' dialogue)?

Right now, I’m using this wonderful Add-On:
Quick note and deck buttons (Fork for 2.1)

But support ends with 2.1.44; and I’d like to update to the latest Anki version.

All I need is basically switching between 2 or 3 note types using a keyboard shortcut. Having to use the mouse for that slows down my work flow too much.

You can hover the mouse over the buttons to reveal a shortcut key.

After pressing the shortcut, you can type a key or two to narrow down the results to the one you want.
