Not able to study subdecks at random within main deck

Hi,

I have my anki configured as follows:

  • Year 3: (Main deck)
  1. X (subdeck)
  2. Y(subdeck)
  3. Z (subdeck)
  4. …etc

I want to study ALL of the content within the “Year 3” deck at random, however when clicking on “study year 3, random order of cards” it ONLY brings up cards in subdeck 1. X.

How do I change it so that I am able to study ALL subdecks within my main deck?!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Anki’s standard study mode introduces new cards in the order of subdecks - the only way to change this at the moment is to create a filtered deck.
