I exported a deck and send it to a friend. When she tries to import it, there are no cards in the deck. We already tried it the other way round, but it still occurs on my Anki App, so neither can I import a deck of her.
After pressing “import” it says that there were no notices (see screenshot).
Make sure both of are on the latest version and try doing without add-ons enabled (“Please close Anki, then start it again while holding down the shift key, which will disable any add-ons you have installed.”)
The message is telling you that all the notes found in the file are already in your collection.
Thanks! I think the problem was caused by the update. I had to tick the box in the settings which allows to import/export decks again.
