I imported this deck but no cards are showing up in the deck. I am on the most updated version of Anki. The Notes/cards are IN my collection and when I try to re-import the file it tells me “4,405 notes already present in your collection” and when I hot the show button next to that I can see all the cards. But I don’t know how to get the actual screen with my decks to show the cards. It says 0 and when I click on them to review it says something to the effect of “congrats you’ve completed the deck”. Please help!
It sounds like your New card limit is set to 0 for that deck. Check your Deck Options – Deck Options - Anki Manual . Since it’s a new deck you need to assign it to the preset you want – and use “Save to All Subdecks” if the deck has subdecks.
[Or else your cards might be suspended – but you’d have done that manually after import, so I think you’d know.]
When I open options for the deck it’s already preset to 20 new cards a day though
If it’s been saying “already present” since the first time you tried the import, then you already have these notes in your collection, and their cards are in your existing decks. When you click “Show” and Anki opens the Browse window, make sure you are in “Cards” mode – look at the “Deck” column, and that will tell you where these cards are.
Since your import resulted in no new cards being created, you can delete that new empty set of decks.
Yes when I look like you said it tells me it should be in that deck but it’s not when I exit the browser. Sorry if I’m missing something but yes I know the cards/notes were imported but I just cannot for the life of me figure out why they aren’t actually showing in the deck bc the browser is telling me they should be in there.
What deck does the Browse window tell you those cards are in? Can you show me a screenshot or describe it to me so I can look at your collection (through our support interface)?
These ones say they are in A1 ch5 adjectives but here when I go there there is still nothing.
That isn’t the same deck. Do you have a top-level deck called Portuguese EU
? Try looking there.

Ah sorry! Yes I do, but I don’t see them in there either?
I guess part of the problem is I tried to move the folder to my Portuguese folder when I first imported it so maybe that screwed it up, and but when I saw nothing came up I tried to re-import it. I never had any issues like this before and as you can see I have imported many decks so idk what the issue is. 
What does that mean though? In your screenshot of the Browse window above, you can see all of them just fine.
Yes, I see them in the browser, but can’t get them to show up in the actual deck. I have multiple Portuguese decks but I paid like $100 for this specific deck and can’t get them to show up. Can we just set up a zoom call or sm? I really just need someone to tell me what to check because I’m at a total loss.
Run Tools > Check Database. If something needs to be corrected in your list of decks, that will do it.
