So I have partially resolved the issue partly by creating an alternate profile where I host those decks but there is one subdeck that doesnt appear on my page no matter how many times i add it to my home page/
it still exists in the database, and i can browse for those cards on the original profile, it just is not able to be added.
as i need these cards urgently i created a backup and have just moved them to a new profile but it really annoys me that i havent fully resolved the issue
please could anyone advise?
my entire collection is 59 mb so i dont know if ive hit some sort of file limit
im on a mac, i use the ios versions frequently on other devices, and i have a lot of addons
please advise
i can still find the decks by the study decks option but it doesnt add them to the homepage for some reason
If I understand you correctly, you can find the cards/notes in the Browse window, but you can’t see the name of the subdeck they are in on your main Decks list?
- Does the subdeck show up in the left sidebar of the Browse window?
- Can you search for the cards by
deck:
? Searching - Anki Manual
- In the “Deck” column, what subdeck do those cards show as being in? Browsing - Anki Manual
- Have you run Tools > Check Database?
not that i cannot see the name - i cannot see them at all, doesnt show up in the left sidebar or by deck, only if i search some of the keywords in the deck, then itsays its attached to the deck im talkng about , but doesnt appear in sidebar of decks, my main decks or anything lke tht.
