I did a chunk of new cards last night around 2am and today they are showing up as new again. I did make sure to sync after finishing the new cards last night. I have the next day to start at 5 hours past midnight. I use FSRS and put the cards in a filtered deck with rescheduling on. Does anybody know why this might be happening?

This looks like a syncing conflict. Are you careful to always sync when you open the app AND when you close/leave the app, on every device, every time?
If you study a card on one device and then make changes to that card/its note on the other device (either manual changes or automatic changes done by an add-on), and THEN sync ā you can end up with a card that has review history that is inconsistent with its state. The only way to avoid that is to make sure that you never have changes happening on multiple devices at the same time.
Hmm Iām positive I synced on my PC after I reviewed last night, and I may have rebuilt a filtered deck before syncing on my laptop, could this have caused it?
Yes ā if the reviews were done on your PC, and then you made other changes on your laptop before syncing, that could certainly cause this.
