Weirdly, some of my cards have a due date before the last review.
Curious if anyone else is having this issue. You can check by searching rated:30 prop:due<-30
or something like that. Use whatever numbers you want.

Usually happens because of sync issues AFAIK.
I am pretty good about doing it every time.
There have been a few times in the way way past that I messed it up, and I’d get an alert that I can either sync to the web, or sync from the web, and that would fix the issue. So I kinda thought this wasn’t possible because it would force you to choose a version if there were inconsistencies.
It might be because of filtered deck. By the way, did you recently rescheduled your cards?
If the collections are incompatible – yes, you’ll have to choose which version to preserve. But this is a more specific situation where the changes are mergeable, but the card doesn’t end up in the correct state.
If you did that studying on 9-22, and then without syncing, made edits to that note on another device (take a look at the card modified and note modified time-date stamps) – those changes can be reconciled, but the edits were made most recently, so the card state from the edited version will control.
However, I also now notice that we’re talking about a gap of over a year since the last review, during which you switched to FSRS and may have rescheduled this card according to that algorithm, and the card is currently in a filtered deck. So there are definitely other things that could be factors here as well!
I just stuck those cards in a filtered deck to see which ones had that issue. The filter itself isn’t causing any of this.
So I do think there was a day a bit ago, probably the 22nd, where I did a small bit of cards on my phone, then on my computer, and realized right after I hadn’t synced, so I immediately synced both and didn’t get the message telling me to choose a version. I assumed none of the cards I studied caused discrepancies. I’m guessing there were discrepancies and it updated the review but didn’t update the new due date. Just weird behavior I haven’t seen before. I’m just going to re-study them. There’s only about 25 cards anyway.
