When I review new cards, Anki doesn’t move them to the “learning” section; it only deducts them from new, and they usually appear the next day. The issue is that I don’t have the “bury until the next day” option enabled, and I’ve never enabled it before, so I find it strange that this is happening.
Maybe I’m misunderstanding or applying something incorrectly, but I’m not really sure what it could be, as I’ve checked several settings. This includes the time of review in advance, which I hadn’t modified initially, but then I reduced it according to what I found in the forum, where I also reviewed other posts, but I couldn’t resolve it.
I’m sharing my configuration here, and I would appreciate the help.
Then they are moving to the Learn/Relearn state. They are showing up the next day because you advanced them to your 1d learning step. You asked Anki to schedule them for the next day.
Your Learn ahead limit won’t change anything for a card on a 1d or 3d step. I’m not sure what you read that made you think you want it to be 0, but see the link to learn more about it.
Thanks for your reply,
I still have a question about what happens after 10 minutes.
On the other hand, the issue is that in the deck summary, the cards are never updated immediately, which I remember happened before and now they are only discounted from new until the next day.
After a 10m learning/relearning step, the card will be available to study again. It will be counted on the red counter, and shown to you as soon as possible.
For the question after that about the Decks list, I really don’t understand what you’re trying to say, so I need you to explain it in a different way.
If you set your learn ahead limit to 0 in the preferences, cards won’t appear in the learning queue until they’re ready for review again. If you don’t want that, restore the learn ahead limit to its default of 20.
