New card order changed

Hello! Need urgent help with this.

My next new card for this deck is supposed to be the 12092, when I tried to study the new cards for this deck, the card that appear are these which is far from the supposed to be the next card as it is card 12059.

I made the card 12059 as newer ones and I don’t know why the number of the card changed all of a sudden as the 12092 card are the older ones.

It looks like your New-card queue got a little mixed up. That can happen due to importing decks, adding notes on different devices (especially without syncing in between), or just general database issues.

The first thing to do is run Tools > Check Database to make sure the database has the top and bottom of the queue set correctly.

Then, if you need to get recently created cards in the order you added them –

  • Search them up – with a search like added:2 is:new (New cards created in the past 2 days)
  • Display the “Created” column, and sort by it
  • Select all > Cards > Reposition
    • New-queue positions only matter relative to each other, so you can choose any “start” that is after the other cards (or after the “bottom” of your current queue)
    • step 1
    • uncheck both boxes
