A few weeks ago my MacBook stopped working and it had to get fixed. In that process all my apps and data was deleted. I know Anki has an automatic back up is there any way I can access it? the app was deleted from my computer so I had to reinstall it again and when I go to look for previous backups it only shows data from today. Is there any way I could restore my cards from before? I take the MCAT next month and I had so many personalized cards on there. This is very frustrating for me.
Automatic backups are local.
If you have an AnkiWeb account set up, then you can sign in to it again and sync your cards. You need to set up an account manually before deleting everything to have your cards in the cloud.
