Moved Cards are Going Back to their Original Deck

I am moving my cards from AnKing-MCAT deck to a custom created deck (not filtered). I will move an entire subjects worth of cards into my deck, checking to make sure they have all successfully moved (the deck I moved them from is emptied). Once I finish my cards for the day, the next time I open the Anki App, under the deck that I moved all the cards from, there will be cards in it that I have never reviewed or even seen before. Sometimes it is only a few, other times there is approximately 60 cards in the folder that was empty from the day before.

I have tried syncing with Ankiweb, I have restarted the application, I have restarted my computer, I have signed out and back into AnkiWeb, and I am signed into AnkiHub and AnKing.

Additional information: when I signed into AnkiWeb, under my Browse tab a deck appeared called “Current Deck” that has a clock on it. I did not create this deck, I do not add cards to this deck, and for some reason I cannot delete this deck. It only appears under the Browse tab, not the “Decks” tab.

Any help is much appreciated.

This sounds like it’s either an AnkiHub updates/syncing issue, or a sync conflict between devices. For AnkiHub questions, their community is the best place to ask – https://community.ankihub.net/ .

If you’re syncing multiple Anki devices through your AnkiWeb account – or doing studying/editing on AnkiWeb directly – are you strict about making sure you sync when you open the app AND when you close the app, on every device, every time?

This is just the shortcut to the deck that you have selected right now. And it’s always there – whether you’re signed in to AnkiWeb or not. It’s not a distinct deck – it’s one of your existing decks. Just like other sidebar items, if you click it, you’ll see that Anki puts it into the search bar – deck:current.
