Missing Cards in Windows Desktop Version Despite Regular Syncing

I use Anki on the Desktop version of the Windows application, Version ⁨2.1.66 (70506aeb)⁩.

I have no problem creating cards and reviewing them in the same session. However, the next day, when I open a new Anki Desktop session, some of my cards are missing. I cannot find them in any of my decks, and I’m really confused because I always sync before I close a session.

Is this a bug? Any ideas?

Yup, couldn’t find them. I must note though, this seems to be a one-off problem. I followed the same workflow again and I can see all my new cards.

If you can come up with steps to reproduce the issue, please let us know.
