Mathjax   instead of space

When writing a card using both mathjax and normal text there is an issue where if you attempt to add a space after a mathjax block   is inserted instead of a space character.
TO REPRODUCE:
Open the add card dialogue.
Make an inline mathjax block and type some equation
close the box and click space
observe   being inserted instead of a space character.

I think this was the problem that was addressed in 2.1.57
