macOS: I cannot switch off dark mode

With the dark mode I cannot see some cards, therefore I want to change to non-dark-mode. But it doesn’t work. I go to “Karten” then I choose “option” and I switch off “dark mode” and I safe it. But there isn’t a change. I have still the dark mode.

What can I do?

SOLVED!

I have had the program on a separate disk and there it don’t work. But now I have the program an the harddisk from my mac and now it works.

You could also set the dark/light mode on a per app basis with the free “Gray” app.

It would have forced the mode despite the location.
