Lost streak on heatmap, but calendar has cards recorded. Any fixes?

On Sunday 5th October I did my cards on my phone as I was overseas in NZL (I’m Australian). I only realised recently that I have lost my streak on my heatmap, due to what I assume is some sync error as when I look at my stats the calendar section has recorded that I did review 118 cards. I know it doesn’t seem like a big deal to some, but I was 467 days in and have continued after the fact hoping to resolve the issue somehow.

Please see the images below.

Thanks so much!

That is just a known bug with the Review Heatmap add-on related to Daylight Saving Time handling. It’s a visual bug with the add-on that shows a false gap in the heatmap. Since we can see that Anki itself shows an unbroken streak, you can just ignore the bug, knowing that your true streak is unbroken.

This seems similar to that Heatmap issue – except that Heatmap notably doesn’t reset the streak when it’s that. It’s just a visual gap. So I wonder if this is something else.

If you were travelling, it’s possible you let 24-hours go past without studying. But the difference between Calendar and Heatmap is surprising in that case too.

Have you run Tools > Check Database lately? Give that a try.

Hmm… I see you are correct. All previous screenshots of the bug show that the value of Current Streak was not reset. But, the current screenshot does show Current Streak having been reset at the time of the bug.

OP, could you please try changing…
Tools → Review Heatmap Options → Calendar Mode → (set it to Year Mode)
… and check if the value of Current Streak changes?

(All the previous screenshots showed Calendar Mode set to Year Mode while the OP’s screenshot showed it set to Months Mode. I’m wondering whether the Current Streak value value/behavior might be different between Year Mode and Months Mode.)
