Syncing reviews between devices

Hi, I really like this
I mistakenly lost my streak yesterday? it says I have done no flashcards and lost my streak of 51 days but i did reviews on my phone and synced it
how can i change this? i want to keep my streak and I don’t understand what i did wrong

If you check at least an hour after your daily reset time, does it fix itself?

I’ve noticed that this problem occurs for me on default Anki the hour after a daily reset, but I’m in DST. It’ll show no reviews for certain days, especially the day that DST came into effect, and then it’ll show many reviews just an hour later. This is despite the fact that the reviews aren’t even close to my daily reset time. I haven’t had time to test everything and make a proper bug report. My reset time is usually 03:00, which complicates it a bit.

might be a bug or the fact i use multiple platforms?

You can double-check that the review history has synced to desktop by looking at Stats > Calendar and making sure you don’t have a blank square there. [If you click the square, you’ll even see a list of the cards you studied.]

If the reviews are there, then it’s just a visual blip in Heatmap. Try running Tools > Check Database on desktop, restarting Anki, or deleting/reinstalling the add-on.

on the square/day that i hover over/click on

Is this on the review heatmap calendar? Or the calendar in Stats?

the review heatmap calendar shows 0, and a white square,
and the calendar in stats doesn’t render properly and shows me the same review heatmap calendar, with the same white square

If you search "prop:rated=-1" on either device, you should see the cards you studied yesterday. If you only see them on your phone, then those reviews haven’t synced to your computer yet.

  • Are you sure your phone and your computer are syncing with the same AnkiWeb account?
  • After you did those reviews and synced your phone, did you also sync on your computer?

i did the reviews, and synced my phone, i don’t think i synced on my computer at the time…

is there a discrepancy because i have to sync every device in succession after using??

Try syncing your phone first, then your laptop and then your phone again (even if you’ve done it already). Now could you check if it is there?
Ideally, if you sync with the same account, the reviews should be carried over.

i did that and now the prop rated = -1 doesn’t exist on my phone anymore??

Restore from a recent pre-sync backup. Then force sync it to AnkiWeb. Then force-sync from AnkiWeb in your laptop.

thank you. i think this might be a one off as i forgot to sync
this issue is not resolved for me but i see where it might have gone wrong now
