My current decks have been scrambled, my review now has 2000+ cards in it but I have currently only practiced around 200-250 cards so far. One of my decks has been marked as completed and I do not know how to reset everything to how it was before the scramble. any help would be appreciated.
First of all, I don’t know what a scramble is. I suggest you read through Getting Started - Anki Manual to understand the basic functioning of Anki.
In short, Anki determines the schedule of your cards and when you study them depending on the grades. It’s a flashcard+scheduler program. If you want to study cards outside the normal schedule, see Filtered Decks - Anki Manual.
Anki gives you new cards when the day changes (at 4 in the morning) if any cards are scheduled for that day.
It’s not clear where you’re looking and seeing these changes, so it’s hard for us to tell if you’re looking in the right places, or if you’re mistaking one thing for another, or if you’re comparing apples to oranges.
