Hello everyone. I’m using Anki Version 25.02 and I have 792 cards in a single deck. I stopped using it for a few months, and when I resumed practicing, I went through the cards in a matter of seconds to quickly clear the hundreds of overdue ones. This ended up messing up Anki’s scheduling.
Now, I go days without reviewing any cards or only one or two per day, whereas the normal amount would be around 40 cards per day. Another thing I noticed is that I have cards scheduled for review in 5, 10, 20, 100, or even more years.
I would like to get things back to normal. Can you help me, please?.
Restoring a backup from before you did that is definitely going to be for the best in the long run. You don’t need to do all 792 just because they are available. Pace yourself by studying a reasonable number of them each day, and click Again on the ones you don’t know.
Ok. I’ll reset. I’ll set it to around 50 cards per day. But in the meantime, if I add new cards to the deck daily, they won’t show up immediately, right?
