Looking for an addon

Is there an add-on for the Anki Browser that introduces a second, persistent search box—separate from the main search field?

What I’m looking for:

A second search input box added to the Browser window UI.

The text entered in this second box (e.g., is:new) remains active and persistent until manually cleared.

This filter would stay applied even when I change decks, tags, or perform other searches in the main search bar.

The final search result shown would be a combination of both boxes (e.g., [persistent search] AND [main search]).

Or some other addon to acheive this?

Btw I have tried QuickSearch but it made things too crowded as shown in the pic below

It’s a great idea. Here’s an add-on that does that.

This tiny change provides a dramatic usability enhancement to the browser. You can just click around on stuff in the sidebar without your delicately crafted search terms vanishing. Huge time saver.

Initial release to test it out. UI needs work (any advice appreciated).

When browser is opened, the sticky search box is in focus, I think it should be the default anki search box in browser.

Also, the sticky search box appears alongside the default one on the same line, it would be better if it appeared on a separate line maybe above it or below it to make it less crowded.

That’s how I had it initially. I will change it back. If anyone complains I can turn it into a setting.
