Hello. May you consider adding photos of regions?
Gangwon changed its official name to “강원특별자치도” in June 2023, i.e. it’s a “special self-governing province” now. The new English name is “Gangwon State”. Maybe change that.
My source is the Gangwon-Do English Wikipedia page (History section) which links to an English press statement from the Ganwondo government. Sadly I cannot for some reason post links here.
(Btw, my Korean girlfriend thinks I’m weird as I am learning all these lengthy city/province name suffixes which nobody uses in casual conversations
