I've updated my anki (2.1.49) and can't use it anymore

Hi everyone,

I’ve updated anki earlier this week, and can’t access it anymore.
When I try to open it up, all I get is this:

It never stops, never finishes downloading.

I’ve turned my computer off a few times, but to no end…

I have no idea how to access anki, so if anyone has had the same probleme before and has found a solution, I’d be grateful to hear it.

Maybe there is a connection problem. You can try syncing again later and start Anki while holding down Shift to skip the initial synchronisation for now.

I’ve tried it, but it changed nothing.

Please make sure you hold down shift immediately after double-clicking on Anki, and until Anki has fully loaded.
