Issue with custom study for "due cards only"

(I added this comment to a previous thread, but didn’t realise it was given an ‘AnkiMobile’ flair. This thread is for the Desktop version)

If I create a custom study session according to card state, for due cards only, I get the message “No cards matched the criteria you provided”. This is despite the deck showing me a non-zero number of cards as Due when I open the app:

With the old scheduler learning cards can not be included.

I have exactly the same problem.

I’m currently running Version 2.1.35

Did anyone figure out how to fix this?
