Increased AnkiWeb syncing size?

When can we expect this much needed feature? As a medical student subscribed to multiple different decks, I would love to have this feature. The 100 MB syncing is still not enough.

Any progress on a paid tier for AnkiWeb storage?

[Sorry for all the switching around. I merged you into the other thread, since that was the question you were asking – but then I separated you into your own thread (in an appropriate category), because I think your situation might have a solution.]

You currently have over 30 GB of media in your AnkiWeb account. Even multiple med-school decks shouldn’t get you to that, so it’s likely some of that is leftover and unneeded. Before we even talk about AnkiWeb-collection-size limits, the first thing you need to do is run Tools > Check Media – “delete unused media” – and sync that deletion to all of your devices. [Make sure you have all devices synced first, or the deleted media might be “helpfully” restored for you later.]

Then, in addition to the suggestions in the linked thread – you should follow these steps to identify where any size issues are in your collection and fix them – Constant Errors Uploading / Sync - #4 by Danika_Dakika . You’re close to the limit for syncing, but given the age of your collection, that doesn’t seem like it should be happening without a cause.

But does that even matter? The FAQ state:

At the moment there are no limits on the size of your media, although the size of individual media files is limited to 100MB.

so why should clearing unused media have an effect, if only the text on your cards and the scheduling information affects the collections size limits?

Hello,

I know AnkiWeb has a maximum of 250mb for collection storage. I have over 60,000 cards and have already divided into 3 different AnkiWeb accounts. I have reached the maximum again and would need to create another account to save on AnkiWeb. Is it possible for me to have one account with more storage (around 1GB)? I am willing to pay if it is possible.

The collection-storage limit is quite reasonable, and it’s rare for someone to reach it without a decades-old collection or something going wrong. See above for where to look for problems and solutions: Increased AnkiWeb syncing size? - #3 by Danika_Dakika .
