I am certain a large amount of Anki users would really appreciate more independent support for the iPad version of Anki. Specifically, I believe allowing a better browser (with editing and better search capabilities), as well as add on support would allow the iPad version to run independently. Thanks!
I’m afraid add-ons in their current form will never be compatible with AnkiMobile, as it is built on different technologies and subject to the app store rules. An improved browser is likely to come in the future when the browsing screen is migrated to Svelte in the future.

I think ankiweb deserve it is time, multi-device app and synchronizing is one of the best parts of anki. Also, you are doing great guys in terms of improving really, even in ipad version you improve statistics and reveiw display, thanks for a lot that🌹. Also, I can not imagine how you make this app very stable, I am really grateful for that. I am excited for the upcoming updates. I wish the best for you & I wish to hear from you soon.
