For large date like we have in medical school, for example the anking deck have a large amounts of tags that we need to navigate. So please improve the browser, i think android version is doing better than iOS version in this content indeed it’s free, why guys?
Also we need to have access to edit and browser display at the same time like that in pc, I know its difficult because of the iOS system but you must figure it out because it will be a huge advantage and we need it. iOS have a good capabilities even with its restrictions, so why we don’t get the benefits of it.
Interesting. AnkiDroid is in the process of improving the browser by using the desktop code. Can I know what exactly AnkiDroid does better than the iOS one? (I don’t use iOS)
I’ve been really stretched for time in recent months, and a lot of my time is taken up keeping on top of desktop development and discussions, and looking after AnkiWeb - both things that also indirectly benefit AnkiMobile. In recent years there has been a shift to sharing more of the UI between the clients to try and reduce duplicate effort, and next up on the list is getting the desktop editor working on mobile devices. Once that has been done, I plan to look tackle other screens like the browser as well. I realise the development pace is not ideal, but I’m doing my best to juggle everything

Credit where credit is due: I feel the iOS and Desktop browsers are much better than the AnkiDroid browser. This is what I’m working on currently.
It’s a process of continual improvement throughout the ecosystem, there’s hundreds of things which we can incrementally fix, and things will continue to improve over time
In terms of searching it is equal to pc version. But we struggling with tags selection and filtering which is now better in android. What i want to emphasize is that, in last 2 years android version have a lot of major updates while ipad version isn’t, thats is what I want to say.
But to be fair, guys are doing great in term of improving and this browse stuff is a wish from me I wish to see.
