Importing Decks without Deleting Existing Cards

Hi,
I was trying to download a premade deck into my existing profile and it keeps saying that the importing the deck with delete the existing cards on my profile.

Is there any way to import decks into my existing profile or do I have to switch profiles to be able to import without deleting everything on my profile.

I have a Windows device, that runs on Windows 10 and Anki 2.1.22

You are importing a .colpkg which is a backup file of a whole collection. You may want to import a .apkg file.

Ideed. I suggest you to create a temporary profile, import the file there and then export the deck as an .apkg file. If there are multiple decks you may need to nest all decks within a parent deck to facilitate the process.
