Importing cards without adding new cards, only updating images/text

Let’s say I want to import images and text from deck “lightyear version 1” to “lightyear version 2” but without adding any extra cards. Basically just updating my current cards. Is that possible?

When I try to import, obviously the extra cards (few thousands) from version 1 get added to version 2 which is not what I want.

You can go to the browser and tag all the current cards with a unique tag and then import the v1 deck using the protect tags option in the special fields addon (see www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTHpODHBk3U), and then just delete the cards that don’t have the unique tag you added.
