Image Occlusion (text boxes appear)

Hello,

I’m having trouble using the Image Occlusion feature in Anki. Previously, I could paste an image and then directly create occlusion boxes over it. However, now when I try to upload or paste an image, I only see text fields appearing (as shown in the attached screenshot), instead of the usual interface where I can draw boxes on the image.

I thought this issue might be related to the latest update, so I tried downloading older versions of Anki, but the problem persists no matter which version I install.

Has anyone experienced this issue or knows how I can fix it?

That doesn’t look like the native image occlusion note type which has a button to edit

The editor should appear like this normally if you choose the image occlusion type:

Try deleting the note type (if unused) from Tools > Manage Notetypes and creating a new one using Add > Add: Image Occlusion. If that still doesn’t work, make sure you’re using a recent Anki version and check add-ons: Troubleshooting - Anki Manual
