Hey glutanimate thank you for this amazing tool!
I was able to create the cards with the image occlusion enhanced but when I want to learn the cards, there is no image showing only the boxes that cover the words! What can I do, so that I can see the images, I tried everything… Thanks a lot for any help!!! It shows like this when i want to learn, but while creating the cars, the image shows correctly!
Hey, thanks for the kind words. There might an issue with your IOE card templates. Have you tried resetting them to the defaults?
It worked!! Thank you so much!
Hi Glutanimate,
Not trying to rush you, but I can’t help but wanna ask if “edit cards cause freeze” bug is fixed?
Image occlusion enhanced got to be my favorite addon tool. Really appreciate your effort to create IOE.
some info is in the conservation above between me and Glutanimate.
hi, long time passed, now i am on 23.10,
however, i found the native IO come with quite much less features than this older IOE addon.
i am not pushing/forcing the development,
just remind others that as the old IOE 's card will likely to continue to work for a forseeable time, not a bad idea if return back to IOE addon if you found the native IO lack some functions.
Hi! I’m getting an error for troubleshooting on my anki deck when I try to use image occlusion. I followed the troubleshooting steps and found that this add-on was the issue. I’d like to be able to use it, though. How can I enable it?
Update Anki to latest version and reinstall the add-on, this fix most issues on Image Occlusion Enhanced add-on
my experience with foss, is that when you change the version for 1 app, then yes this is fixed, and more problem then happen.
i told with true heart.
Is there a way to set the default note type when using this add-on? It defaults to the regular Image Occlusion Enhanced note type, but I would like it to default to a school specific one that I contribute to.
If you choose your school-specific note type in the Add Note window, are you saying that the note gets created with the regular IO Enhanced note type instead?
I once heard there were plans for a feature to convert IOE notes to native IO notes. I have a deck where the deck author used IOE but I want to convert them to IO. Anything on that?
I think native IO note type is incompatible with IOE note type. Conversion between them is what I’m asking in my post above.
So, for example I start creating an IO card (either using the icon in the “Add Card” window or pasting an image, right clicking and then choosing “Occlude Image”). The added cards are typed as IO Enhanced, and I don’t see any options to change this. So, I need to change it after the fact.
Is there a way to have the note type in this instance be a different default?
I’m not sure if there is, but the Wiki for this add-on is quite extensive. Have you checked to see if that addresses the sorts of customizations you are trying to do with a separate note type?
Edit: I tried rienstalling anki and it works perfectly now
This addon has been working perfectly for the past few months. but for some reason today.it stopped working.
When I try to open the editor, it keeps showing me the loading sign perpetually.
What should I do?
I don’t have time for these malfunctions, as I want to study
(* I’ve restarted Anki to see if it helps
- I’ve verified that I use the latest version of the add-on by redownloading it from AnkiWeb
- I’ve verified that I use the latest version of Anki
- I’ve tried to disable other add-ons to see if there are any interactions present)
Please help! My image occlusion tool is too zoomed in to where I cannot access the “add” button at the bottom of the screen. I cannot resize the window and I have tried deleting/redownloading the add-on and deleting the app itself to no avail. I’ve looked everywhere but this seems to be a pretty rare problem as I haven’t been able too many other posts about this topic.
(The add button is at the bottom where I cannot reach)
(On multiple desktop view, that window is very zoomed out and I can see the “add” button at the bottom, I just can’t physically scroll down to reach it)
Have you tried maximizing the window with the green button in top left?
Yes. It does not work
Unsure if it will matter, but try Anki → Preferences → User Interface: Reset Window Sizes
