If it is possible to upgrade anki without losing progress

I need to update my anki (Version ⁨2.1.56 (07fd88dd)⁩
Python 3.9.15 Qt 6.4.0 PyQt 6.4.0). But I dont want to lose my progress with the decks that im currently using. So can this be done?
