My computer crashed. I backed up Anki on hard drive a few months ago. I went to restore and program is not on my drive. By any chance is iCloud backup an option?
Anki does not reside in your Documents or Desktop folders, so unless you manually copied the Anki folder into your iCloud drive or were syncing with AnkiWeb, I’m afraid you’ve probably lost your data.

Are you asking because you want to make backups in the future? I’d recommend you use AnkiWeb instead, as it’s a lot more convenient.
