Hey Anki learners!
I’m excited to share AnkiAIUtils: Mnemonics Creator, a tool that generates AI-powered mnemonics to help you remember your Anki cards more effectively I made during medical school.
What it does:
- Creates multiple mnemonic options per card.
- Uses proven memory techniques like the Major System.
- Incorporates your existing memory anchors.
- Preserves context and accuracy.
Why I’m proud of it:
This tool has batshit insane potential to make memorization easier and more fun. Whether you’re learning numbers, sequences, or abstract concepts, it’s got you covered.
Example:
For a card about febrile seizures, it generated this mnemonic:
A feverish symmetrical child creates a single bubble in the meadow.
And broke it down to explain how each part relates to the card’s content.
How to try it:
Check out the GitHub repo for setup instructions and examples.

This is a free, open-source project, and I’d love to see it grow. If you’re a developer and want to help turn this into an Anki addon, let’s collaborate!
Also, don’t forget to check out my other Anki-related repositories—I’ve got a bunch of tools that might interest you.
