I am using Anki Version 2.1.56 Qt 5 with V3 Scheduler.
Is there any option to schedule a new card into future, the only option I have right now is to “Set Due Date” on the new card but that turns the “New card” into "Review Card ".
Is there any other option or any addon which may help.
If you want a New card to be pushed off into the future so it is not introduced yet, but stay new – just use “Reposition” to move it later in the New-queue.
“Reposition” moves the “New cards” down the queue and it is still introduced the same day in the very end, what I want is to send a new card which I created today for example to be introduced on 7 days from now, untill then it should not be shown in my study deck for 6 days from today.
If you don’t have a significant queue of New cards to put it in (more New cards than your next 7 days’ daily limit), then you’re right, that won’t work. Your other option is to suspend the card, and unsuspend it when you’re ready to study it.
