How to review multiple subdecks at once while studying an anki deck?

Hi guys!

So, I’m facing a little problem today: I’m learning Japanese (how original), and I’ve started my sentence mining phase, on which I’m mining sentences from animes (how original).

I have a main deck, called Immersion, which has a subdeck, called アニメ (anime), and this subdeck also has multiple subdecks for each anime that I’ve mined sentences through (for now it’s Clannad and Natsume Yuujinchou (夏目友人帳).

I’ve tried to organize my card in a certain order so that I would first review the words that are really frequent, and then the words that are less frequent etc. I have a frequency list that helps me with that.

I’ve made it so that every card in the main deck (Immersion) has its position based on its frequency, no matter which subdeck it is from.

Unfortunately, when I try to study my main deck, the cards that he shows me are only from the first subdeck, no matter what is its position in the main deck frequency order.

Do you know a way so that, while reviewing my main deck, it would display cards according to their rank on the list, and not according to which subdeck they’re from?

Excuse me, I know that my explanations aren’t probably very clear. Please feel free to ask me if you need any precisions. I’m also posting a few pictures so that you can understand better what I’m trying to say.

Thank you in advance for your answer! You guys are the best

How did you do that exactly? Are you adding new cards in sequence (from the most frequent to the least frequent words, or the other way around, based on your list.)

Not OP but I’ve done something similar here.

For me, it was as simple as creating an extra field named {{Frequency}}, then I assigned a numerical value for every note accordingly. By doing this, I can sort the notes by its frequency in the browser.

I also assigned one flag for highly frequent notes, one for more or less frequent and other for low frequent ones.
