How to Restore Deck from Backup on External Hard Drive

My laptop crashed. (MacBook Pro circa 2014)

I had data recovery done and and everything moved from the old laptop to an external hard drive.

From what I can see, there is a folder on the external hard drive with two related Anki items in it:

  • AnkApp-MacOS.zip
  • AnkiApp.app

Q: How do I import my deck from that external hard drive onto my new MacBook?
