How to only use one type of card from a note and exclude the rest?

I have an anki deck that has notes for a bunch of words and their meanings , but the problem is that some of them are reverse coded (bad), while others are not (good) (reverse being the opposite of being given the unknown to figure out the english word(so say i dont know spanish. it gives me the spanish word and when i flip it the english word, not vise versa )). I want to use the normal ones, because the words that are reverse coded are not teaching me anything new compared to the normal ones and are for practicing active recall which I intend to do by talking to people.

so how do I make it so that somehow it only shows and gives me the normal cards?

thank you for your time.

The easiest thing to do is select those cards and suspend them. You can search up all the cards in that deck (or for that note type) and add -card:1 (if card 1 is the one you want to keep studying) – select all > Cards > Toggle Suspend.

If you’re 100% sure that those cards will never have any value to you. You could modify the note type so that it won’t create those card types anymore. In the “Cards” template editor, you can “Remove Card Type” – Card Templates - Anki Manual . All of the cards will be permanently deleted.
