If you don’t want to use the type-your-answer feature, you can use Change Note Type to switch this note to another of the default note types, like “Basic” – Browsing - Anki Manual .
I’m not understanding the difference. It seems like you don’t want to see the corrected version of your answer, but this is obviously not a good example of this sort of card, because you wouldn’t use type-answer to type the exact same word you see on the front of the card.
In a real example, this would be more like a front with – hola
and a type-your-answer box where you could enter – hello
If you mistyped that as hellu, it wouldn’t be useful to have the “u” marked wrong on the back, but have no indication of what the right letter/answer was. A type-answer card needs a correction.
The idea is that only the voice is heard.
Remove the words hello from the first line. And try to remember the words that I marked in red. Try to remember the missing one.
And put a show word button. If I have trouble remembering it.
Then I don’t think you need a type-answer note at all, since you don’t want the text comparison aspect of it. I think you just need a generic text box that will hold on to what you type and show it to you on the back. Take a look at these for some ideas:
