I’m writing to ask if it is possible to flip Anki cards (back to front or front to back) while on iPhone instead of via desktop.

Do you mean the “Flip” button in the card templates screen of the computer version? AnkiMobile doesn’t have this button, though you could emulate it in a pinch by manually copying and pasting the back template onto the front and vice versa, modifying as appropriate. Frequently flipping wasn’t really intended though - if you’d like to see cards in both directions, Anki encourages you to use a notetype like ‘Basic (and reversed)’, which will show cards in both directions.
