How to change the ankiweb account email to a new one?

Hello,
I know the email associated with my Anki account ([redacted]), but I no longer have access to it.
I can still access my Anki account on my device.
Please help me change the account email to a new one so I can sync again.
Thank you.

In that case, make sure to sync the device so that server and device are both at the latest version of your decks, review history, ect.

Then, remove the account from your device and register a new one. You can then simply sync to the new account and are good to go.

Or do this: Change Mail Adress - #2 by Rumo.

Has your desktop everything you want (cards, decks, review history, …)? If yes, just do this:

do you mean i remove the account from anki web?

actually i am afraid of losing everything , so l think i will do export for everything of my anki in desktop

Sure, you can do that.

It looks like you are set up on your new account now. There are a few more things you can do to clean up.

  1. On your local device, use Tools > Check Media to delete unused media, and then sync those changes to AnkiWeb. [This would have been good to do before setting up syncing and uploading all that unnecessary media, but cleaning it up now is still useful – for you and the servers.]

  2. Delete your old account from AnkiWeb, if you can. Since it’s no longer verified, you might not be able to remove it, but it’s worth a shot. https://ankiweb.net/account/settings

  3. Check your browsers to delete your old account’s credentials from cache/cookies/stored passwords. This will help you avoid confusion in the future.
