When I try and post a topic it tells me not to include links. I typed my topic in notepad which is plain text and pasted it here in plain text so its impossible for me to include links.
You just posted a topic.
If your plaintext contains links then enclose them in a codeblock like this: `forums.ankiweb.net`.
It will render as forums.ankiweb.net.
Just make sure you do not post links that aren’t allowed (e.g. spam).

I tried typing in Anki Web . net and other Anki links with quotes and it wouldn’t let me; I also tried to do it properly using that link button and it wouldn’t let me. It even wouldnt let me do it in this reply.
Since there is no support offered and I can’t ask for any meaningful help or even “you-tube” video even on the forums I’m going to see if I can get my purchase refunded.
Brand new users are limited in what they can post in the Forums, to combat spam – but as Anon already said, if you need to include a link, you can put that `between backticks`, so it is copyable.
We’ve responded to you substantive questions in your other threads, so hopefully you’ve gotten “meaningful”-enough help now.
