Have I lost my decks?

For a while I was getting an error massage saying something like “internal error”, but when I closed it, it would work. Then Anki stopped working completely: when I clicked e.g. “tags” to search for a deck, everything turned white, no warning message. This Anki I was using was downloaded from the official webpage and not from the Appstore, so it was not an “app” on my computer but a download. Now that it was not working, I tried to download the actual app from the app store. By logging in the newly dowloaded Anki App, I was not able to access the decks I had written on the old AnkiApp during the last months ( the period when I was getting the warning message), although I used the same email to log in. I can see older decks from years ago, but not the most recent ones.

What do i do?

AnkiApp is an unrelated program.

For problems with the official Anki, please try the troubleshooting steps.
