I switched to FSRS a few weeks back and my 3 year streak suddenly had dozens of missed days. As I continue daily to use anki, the missed days persist.
Can you advise on how to resolve because the answer doesn’t appear in previous posts.

If you want to fix streaks you can do so with this add-on. (but it is generally recommended not to rely on streak in Anki, because it’s merely gamification and not actually important.)
Enabling FSRS doesn’t change anything about your review history, and that’s the only thing that should impact a streak. [You don’t say what add-on you’re using that tracks your streak – so I’ll answer this based on Review Heatmap, a very common one.]
More likely causes of gaps opening up in your history –
- Changing your next-day-starts time.
- Moving between time zones.
- Excluding certain decks, dates, or review types in your Heatmap settings.
- Deleting notes/cards in an unusual way that also removes their review history, or deleting the review history from specific cards.
Does that mean that those same days remain missing – or that as you’re studying, additional days are turning up as missed in your stats? In either case, have you tried running Tools > Check Database?
